Trade and investment cooperation as well as the impact of war in Ukraine on the Polish economy – these are the main topics of discussions of Minister Waldemar Buda with the American entrepreneurs associated in the US-Poland Business Council.

Energy security and joint activities in the face of economic effects of the Russian invasion to Ukraine, followed by improving the competitiveness and resilience of the European economy – these were the leitmotivs of the discussions between the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Waldemar Buda with his Czech counterpart Jozef Sikela – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The meeting was held in Prague in the form of intergovernmental consultations under the auspices of Prime Ministers Mateusz Morawiecki and Petr Fiala.

During her today’s visit to Poland, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen officially confirmed the Commission's endorsement of Poland's National Recovery Plan. Ursula von der Leyen held the meeting with the highest level representatives of the Polish authorities – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and President Andrzej Duda.

Strengthening of economic relations between Poland and Slovakia, including in the SME area, impact of war in Ukraine on the economy and making the voice of the Visegrad Group states on building the resistance of the European economy more hearable were the leitmotivs of discussions held by the Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Waldemar Buda during his one-day visit to the Republic of Slovakia.

Today, upon request of the Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Waldemar Buda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Kamila Król as the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

The credit vacation currently drafted by the Government to support the Polish mortgage borrowers followed by one-year treasury bonds of attractive interest rate aimed to save money and protect it against inflation are the key issues brought up by Waldemar Buda, Minister of Economic Development and Technology, during the debates held at the Impact’22 Congress.
