Department of Innovative Solutions

The Department of Innovative Solutions deals with projects and activities related to the development of new technologies (distributed ledgers, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, internet of things and big data), as well as implementing the communication policy in this area. Additionally, the Department implements the Integrated Analytical Platform project as well.

Department tasks

•    Creating a policy aimed at eliminating barriers and legal loopholes preventing the application of new technology solutions,
•    Initiating and coordinating activities and projects in the field of new technologies, particularly distributed ledger technologies (DLT, including blockchain), artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT),
•    Conducting actions to synchronise the initiatives undertaken by public administration institutions in the field of innovative solutions and good practices in this area,
•    Creating a repository concerning the cooperation between public administration and the private sector in the field of new technologies,
•    Working with industry organisations, scientific communities and NGOs dealing with new technologies to involve producers and integrators of new technology solutions.
