Deputy foreign ministers discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral relations and furthering economic and consular cooperation; they also focused on the most important challenges for regional and international security. The meeting was convened as part of the regular political dialogue between Poland and Kuwait.

One of the main items on the agenda concerned the situation in the Middle East and in Eastern Europe. The discussion revolved around the impact of the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran on the situation in the Persian Gulf, with a particular focus on regional security, protecting critical infrastructure, and economic sustainability. 

Special attention was devoted to safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and uninterrupted supply of energy resources. Both sides stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts aimed at limiting escalation and safeguarding international trade stability, as well as the need to abide by the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
