Deputy Foreign Minister Wojciech Gerwel meets with Under Secretary of State at US Department of State

On 22 August 2023, at the request of the US side, Undersecretary of State at the Polish MFA Wojciech Gerwel met with Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security at the US Department of State Bonnie Denise Jenkins, PhD.
The aim of the talks was to exchange views on the current security situation in the Euro-Atlantic region and to coordinate the transatlantic response to the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine. The officials also discussed strengthening strategic bilateral relations, including in particular enhancing cooperation in security and defence policy.
