The key subjects included support for Ukraine, also in the context of the country's future reconstruction. Deputy Minister Gerwel communicated how Poland has been assisting Kyiv and highlighted that military support and continued effective sanctions targeting Russia and Belarus are crucial for aid measures to be successful. Referring to the future reconstruction of Ukraine, Deputy Minister Gerwel noted that the process must be intertwined with the country's integration with the European Union. He also made a reference to the coordination platform established recently within the G7, noting that it should be open to all countries that have been the most active donors of aid to Ukraine.

A part of the meeting was attended remotely by Ukraine's Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, who emphasised the importance of keeping the Ukrainian economy productive and supporting the country in military terms, especially by reinforcing its air defence systems, so as to be able to carry out effective development measures. The minister pointed to energy security as the country's chief priority for development.

During the FAC meeting, the ministers also talked about reforming international development banks. A day before, during a working dinner with Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom, the ministerial discussion focused on global health challenges.
