Deputy Minister Marcin Bosacki meets with Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments Elchin Amirbayov

During today's consultations, the two interlocutors discussed current bilateral issues, the question of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, and the security situation in the South Caucasus in the light of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
Poland’s deputy foreign minister looked forward to strengthening Poland–Azerbaijan relations. He brought up the potential for bilateral economic cooperation, highlighting the attractiveness of what Polish companies have to offer in the sectors of green technology, road construction, or agri-food products. Referring to the Azerbaijan–Armenia peace process, Deputy Minister Bosacki conveyed support for every step the two parties are taking towards the ultimate regulation of their mutual relations and the conclusion of a peace treaty. He stressed that a stable peace will impact regional security and economic cooperation and open new communication routes.
Also, the meeting offered an opportunity to talk about relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union. In that regard, Deputy Minister Bosacki spoke about the potential for cooperation in the framework of the Eastern Partnership, where Azerbaijan can play a major role in the development of transport infrastructure between Europe and Central Asia.
