Deputy Minister Marcin Przydacz takes part in Dubrovnik Forum 2021

“One of Poland’s top priorities under the Three Seas Initiative is infrastructure development, in particular on the North-South axis. Coordinating activities within the Initiative will help us bridge existing gaps and better exploit our potential,” said in his speech Deputy Minister Marcin Przydacz during a panel discussion on the Three Seas Initiative, the EU, and Central and Eastern Europe-China cooperation, which took place during the Dubrovnik Forum 2021.

This year’s forum was held under the motto “Together in a World Apart”, and focused on regional cooperation and economic recovery after the pandemic. The Dubrovnik Forum is an annual international conference devoted to current challenges in the area of foreign policy and economic cooperation. Organised by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, the forum is one of biggest events in Central and Eastern Europe. It brings together heads of government and foreign ministers from the region.

On the sidelines of the forum, Deputy Minister Przydacz met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Hungary Tamás Vargha, with whom he discussed regional cooperation and the future of the Eastern Partnership. During his talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Rumen Alexandrov, the Polish deputy foreign minister presented Poland’s position on eastern and security policies and the 3SI. Furthermore, the deputy head of the Polish MFA held talks with Undersecretary of State for European Affairs at the Estonian MFA Märt Volmer. The diplomats covered issues such as cybersecurity and the state of transatlantic relations. The Polish deputy minister also met with Croatia’s Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman. One of the topics discussed was Polish involvement in cooperation within regional and security cooperation formats in Europe.
