Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski gives guest speech at Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy

At the invitation of Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Oana Ţoiu, Radosław Sikorski remotely joined a conference of Romania's ambassadors today.
The Polish deputy prime minister delivered an address on the current geopolitical challenges facing liberal democracies. He pointed out that some international actors are striving to undermine today’s international order.
The head of Polish diplomacy emphasized the importance of Polish–Romanian bilateral cooperation in the context of responsibility for the security of Europe, especially NATO’s eastern flank. Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski also noted that it is necessary to consolidate transatlantic relations, not only because of the present threats from Russia.
The panel for the meeting’s special guests was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Oana Ţoiu, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, and NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska.
