Minister Nakatani highlighted Poland’s important role as a “frontline country” when it comes to providing support for Ukraine. He also praised the cooperation between Polish and Japanese military units. Polish foreign minister noted that Polish–Japanese strategic partnership is going to be enhanced to include matters related to defence. Both sides emphasised their willingness to work together and exchange knowledge on cyber war, drones, and adopting a defence doctrine drawing from the Ukrainian experience. The interlocutors agreed that the current situation in Ukraine has an impact on East Asia.  Minister Sikorski invited Minister Nakatani for a visit to Poland.
