U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken congratulated Minister Radosław Sikorski on his return to office, expressing hope for a face-to-face meeting with Minister Sikorski in Washington early next year.

The two diplomats agreed on the need to continue the close Poland–U.S. cooperation on, among others, defence and support for Ukraine. Secretary Blinken praised the Polish people for the assistance they have provided to Ukraine. 

Minister Sikorski spoke about the need to maintain Western unity in the face of Russia’s aggressive actions.
