The two officials agreed that in the current situation of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, the enlargement of the European Union becomes an integral part of the continent’s security and stability.

Minister Sikorski and European Commissioner Kos also spoke about countering Russian disinformation and the need to promote European values in the countries in the European Union’s immediate and broader neighbourhood.

While in Warsaw, Commissioner Kos visited the Centre for Foreign Programme Broadcasting (Ośrodek Mediów dla Zagranicy), meeting with the station’s reporters and giving an interview to Belsat, Vot Tak, and Slava TV channels.
