Meeting of foreign ministers of Poland and Guatemala

On 27 July 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau met in Warsaw with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala Mario Búcaro Flores and Minister of National Defence Henry Reyes Chigua.

Minister Rau met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala, Mario Búcaro Flores

The talks focused on current situation in Ukraine and the state of bilateral relations. The ministers expressed their hope for further intensification of bilateral political, economic, military, scientific, and cultural relations. Furthermore, Minister Mario Búcaro Flores informed his Polish counterpart of plans to open a Guatemalan Embassy in Warsaw and proposed that Diplomatic Academies of the two countries should establish cooperation.
