The deputy ministers discussed current bilateral issues. A key topic was national minority rights, in particular in education and the use of Polish language. The deputy heads of diplomacy agreed that the Polish community in Lithuania and the Lithuanian community in Poland help bring our two countries closer. An honest and open dialogue, including working together to find constructive solutions, are fundamental to strengthening the strategic ties between the two states.

In the opinion of the interlocutors, a similar perception of the opportunities and threats in the region provides an excellent basis for Polish–Lithuanian cooperation, in particular in the area of building regional resilience in the face of an increasingly challenging geopolitical situation.
