The chief diplomats stressed the neccessity to strenghten Europe's defence capabilities. In this context, they underlined the special character of investments in safeguarding NATO's eastern flank. They voiced a belief that cooperation between Europe and the US within NATO remains crucial for the translantic region's security and stability.

The ministers condemned the Russian provocations targeted at EU member states, including incursions into their airspace. They pointed out the need to redouble efforts in countering the conventional and hybrid threats posed by Russia and its partners.

The diplomats declared continued political, military and financial support for Ukraine. They agreed that the scenarios for resolving the conflict and ending the Russian aggression must be developed in close coordination with the Ukrainian authorities and with Europe's security interests in mind.
