It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of His Majesty King Harald V, a monarch devoted to his country and the people of Norway, and a widely respected ruler.

His two visits to Poland, in 1996 and 2012, during which he was accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Sonja, will remain in our memory as expressions of friendship and respect, which are the foundation of strong Polish-Norwegian ties.

During his reign, the King embodied values ​​that are dear to Poles – loyalty to duty, faith, and homeland.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family.
