MFA statement on situation of Poles staying in Afghanistan

According to the information available to the MFA, five Polish citizens are currently staying in Afghanistan. They are in constant contact with the Polish consul in New Delhi, as well as the Embassies of France, Germany and the US in Kabul with regard to the possibilities of evacuation from the territory of Afghanistan.

For many years, the MFA has been maintaining the highest travel threat level (level 4) for the country, which means that all travel to Afghanistan is advised against. Last week, we reiterated our call to our compatriots urging them to leave the country immediately, both through social media and directly in conversations with our citizens.
