Minister Jacek Czaputowicz to visit Berlin

A meeting with chief of German diplomacy Heiko Maas and a speech during the Weimar Transatlantic Forum will be the highlights of Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz’s visit to Berlin on 25-26 November 2019.

During bilateral talks, foreign ministers of Poland and Germany will discuss the current bilateral, EU and international agenda. They will focus on the current state of Polish-German relations, including the situation of the Polish diaspora, as well as the EU’s future and transatlantic cooperation.

In his address at the Genshagen Foundation during the Weimar Transatlantic Forum, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will present the priorities of Poland’s foreign policy in a global and European perspective.

While in Berlin, Minister Czaputowicz will also hold talks with top German politicians. The chief of Polish diplomacy will meet President of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble, Minister-President of Brandenburg and Coordinator of German-Polish Intersocietal and Cross-Border Cooperation Dietmar Woidke, co-leader of the Green Party Robert Habeck, and chairman of the FDP Christian Lindner.
