Minister Jacek Czaputowicz to visit Saudi Arabia and Singapore

The visit of the chief of Polish diplomacy to Saudi Arabia and Singapore on 23-27 April 2019 will be devoted to the development of economic, military and assistance cooperation, as well as the international security.

During his one-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the chief of the Polish MFA will meet with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim al-Assaf and his deputy, Adel al-Jubeir. The talks will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, as well as boosting economic, military and assistance cooperation. The diplomats will also discuss current international issues, including the implementation of the arrangements made at the Warsaw Ministerial to Promote a Future of Peace and Security in the Middle East.

While in the Republic of Singapore, Minister Czaputowicz will meet with the Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan and Karsten Warnecke, the Executive Director of the Asia-Europe Foundation, a non-profit organization seeking to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between people living in Asia and Europe. The chief of the Polish MFA will also call on the representatives of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the PSA International company.

Minister Czaputowicz will also give a lecture titled “Poland’s Perspective on the European Union, Asia, and the Rules-Based International System” at the Fullerton Hotel as part of a series of events organized by the IISS-Asia, a UK think tank.

Furthermore, while in Singapore, the chief of the Polish MFA will attend a reception organized by the Polish embassy in Singapore to celebrate the 3 May Constitution Day.
