The head of Polish diplomacy congratulated the new members of the Foreign Service on this success, stressing that their service begins at a difficult time when the future of the democratic world remains uncertain and Poland will play a crucial role, also in the context of the upcoming Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Head of the Foreign Service Rafał Wiśniewski handed in letters appointing the new diplomats and reminded them that joining the ranks of the diplomatic and consular corps is an honour and an obligation.

The first diplomatic ranks were awarded to twelve persons who successfully passed the diplomatic and consular exam. They included eleven diplomatic and consular training graduates and one MFA employee - a graduate of the National School of Public Administration (KSAP). The ceremony was conducted by Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy and head of the diplomatic and consular training Marta Zielińska-Śliwka.
