During his conversation with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Poland’s top diplomat raised bilateral political dialogue and the potential to develop economic cooperation. The ministers also discussed the security situation in the region, as well as the prospects for entering into a lasting peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Minister Sikorski's consultations with Minister Tanja Fajon coincided, as the head of Slovenian diplomacy noted, with the 32nd anniversary of Poland recognising Slovenia's independence. The officials highlighted the very good state of bilateral relations and expressed willingness to tighten them. The chief of Polish diplomacy thanked Slovenia for the support it has provided to Ukraine as the country counters the Russian imperialism, and called for further efforts in this regard.

The ministers agreed on strengthening multilateral cooperation, in particular in the context of Slovenia's membership of the UN Security Council and the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union. Minister Sikorski accepted Minister Fajon's invitation to visit Slovenia later this year.
