Minister Radosław Sikorski meets with Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights’ Director Maria Telalian

Today, Poland’s top diplomat and the Director of OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Maria Telalian met for the first time since her nomination in December 2024.
The main discussion topics included Poland’s cooperation with the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in the areas of promoting democracy and the rule of law, as well as the Office’s endeavour to monitor human rights violations committed by the Russian troops in Ukraine. Moreover, Director Telalian presented the priorities she undertakes to tackle while in office.
During the talks, Minister Sikorski reaffirmed Poland’s support for ODIHR’s activity, emphasising the human dimension of its work, which is also the theme of its annual review meetings held in Warsaw.
