Minister Rau to attend NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Bucharest

On 29-30 November, Minister Zbigniew Rau will visit Romania to take part in the Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the North Atlantic Alliance countries.
Discussions will focus on the current security situation in view of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the strengthening of NATO’s eastern flank, and the reinforcement of support to Ukraine.
The ministers will also meet with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and separately with their counterparts from Georgia, Moldova, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as these countries are particularly vulnerable to Russia’s destabilisation efforts.
Minister Rau’s Bucharest visit will also be an opportunity to hold a number of bilateral meetings.
