Minister Rau to take part in high-level week opening 78th United Nations General Assembly session

Minister Zbigniew Rau will visit New York on 17-23 September 2023.

He will take part in the high-level week opening the 78th United Nations General Assembly session.

This year, the event's main theme is „Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all”.

The head of Polish diplomacy will accompany President of Poland Andrzej Duda during the general debate of the 78th session and in the selected meetings in the margins of the debate. 

Minister Zbigniew Rau will also take part in the selected events accompanying the general debate of the General Assembly and will hold a series of bilateral meetings.
