The main topic to be covered at the 11th Emergency Special Session of the UN General Assembly is the situation in war-torn Ukraine, especially the resolution on conditions underlying just and lasting peace in this country.

Minister Rau will take part in a briefing of the UN Security Council at the ministerial level concerning the security situation one year after the onset of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

While visiting New York, the Polish head of diplomacy will also take the opportunity to hold a series of bilateral meetings, in particular with Foreign Minister of Guatemala Mario Adolfo Búcaro Flores and Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
