Minister Rau visits Riga

The meeting of NATO foreign ministers will be the main purpose of Poland’s top diplomat Zbigniew Rau’s visit to Riga. He will travel to Latvia from 30 November to 1 December 2021.
Allied foreign ministers will mainly discuss current challenges to the security of NATO and the Euro-Atlantic area caused by the activity of Russian forces at the border with Ukraine, and the crisis at the Polish-Belarusian border. The ministers will also consult about the preparations for next year’s NATO summit in Madrid.
The diplomats are also scheduled to meet their counterparts from Georgia and Ukraine.
