The ministers discussed the ongoing migration crisis at the EU’s eastern border. Minister Rau emphasised the need for a coherent and coordinated policy towards the Belarusian authorities. He stressed that this is the only way to permanently end this dangerous crisis situation that threatened the security of the entire region.
