On 20-23 September, Minister Zbigniew Rau will visit New York to participate in the high-level week that opens the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. This year’s debate focuses on post-pandemic economic recovery as well as issues related to human rights observance, climate, natural resources, and facilitation of the UN functioning.

The agenda of Minister Zbigniew Rau’s visit to New York includes numerous bilateral meetings with his counterparts, the EU foreign ministers’ meeting with the participation of High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, a Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies as well as a meeting with the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, Virginia Gamba. Moreover, Minister Rau will accompany President of Poland Andrzej Duda during the 76th UNGA General Debate and selected meetings of the president.
