In Bucharest, the minister will be a guest of honour at the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy, where he will take the floor during a panel devoted to the situation in Ukraine and the Black Sea region and to the security of NATO’s eastern flank. The visit to the Romanian capital will also include a bilateral component, namely political consultations with Romania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu.

In Prague, Minister Rau will deliver an address at the plenary session of the 30th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum and meet with US Ambassador to OSCE Michael Carpenter and the Organization’s Secretary General Helga Schmid.
