While in Helsinki, Minister Rau will be received by President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö and will meet with Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto as well as with Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Tytti Tuppurainen.

The meetings will focus on the war in Ukraine and efforts to provide humanitarian aid, the European security architecture in the context of Finland’s aspirations to join NATO structures, the current situation in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe as well as its future, and bilateral relations.
