During the conference on global security to be held in Slovakia, the top Polish diplomat will take part in a panel titled “Leading from the Centre: CEE at a Time of War”. Together with his Slovak counterpart and former President of Estonia, Minister Rau will discuss the challenges the countries in our region are currently facing in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. The panel participants will also talk about the role the EU and NATO member states play in actions to support Ukraine.

On 31 May and 1 June, the head of the Polish MFA will attend an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Oslo. During the session, the ministers will work towards establishing a common position ahead of the NATO summit in Vilnius and address the issue of developing mechanism of cooperation with Ukraine and the country’s integration in Europe and the Euro-Atlantic alliance.
