In January 2022, Poland will take over the OSCE chairmanship. It is one of the principles of the organisation that the state holding the OSCE chairmanship should exercise restraint in such matters.

On 4-5 November, MFA Secretary of State Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk visited Madrid. The main item on the agenda was political consultations with Juan González-Barba, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain. The officials discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on the European Neighbourhood Policy, enlargement policy, and the future of Europe.

On 3 November, MFA Secretary of State Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk visited Tirana and Belgrade. In Albania, he held political consultations with Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Megi Fino.
