    On 10 September 2019, the General Court of the European Union issued a judgement annulling the European Commission’s decision of 28 October 2016 on review of the exemption of the OPAL pipeline from the requirements on third party access (TPA) and tariff regulation granted under Directive 2003/55/EC (currently Directive 2009/73/EC). The ruling is Poland’s great success.

    “Poland fully supports the European perspective of the Western Balkans and stands for a quick launching of accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia,” said Minister Czaputowicz during today’s meeting with Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj. “We hope that the decisions will be made during the General Affairs Council session in October,” he added.
