Improving transatlantic security and providing further comprehensive support for Ukraine were the focal points of the sixth meeting conducted in the "EU Big Five +” format. Today in Rome, Minister Radosław Sikorski met with the chief diplomats of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. The meeting was also attended by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy as well as the NATO Secretary General.

We are pleased to announce that, with the support of Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs-including financial assistance-the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has today published the report Economic Convergence Scoreboard for the Western Balkans 2025.

Held on 5 June, the meeting focused on sharing the experience of Poland and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in providing humanitarian aid during Russia's war against Ukraine as well as on building resilience and capacity to respond to crisis situations.

On 29-30 May, Deputy Minister Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef paid a visit to Colombia, where she carried out political consultations with her Colombian counterpart, Deputy Minister Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio. During the meeting, Polish-Colombian relationships were discussed.

Foreign ministers of Poland and Germany have officially opened the Polish-German Forum today. The event was resumed after a seven-year break.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently noted cases of individuals fraudulently pretending to be calling from the MFA official number: 022 523-90-00, published on the Ministry's official website.

On behalf of the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, Minister Radosław Sikorski has visited Sri Lanka. During his visit (28-31 May 2025), Poland's top diplomat is representing the European Union as part of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.

Between 26 and 28 May, Deputy Minister Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef was visiting Peru for political talks with its Deputy Foreign Minister, Félix Denegri Boza. Top of the agenda was the state and prospects of fostering Poland-Peru relations in the political, trade and investment dimensions.

On 27 May, an informal meeting of the Horizontal Working Party on Enhancing Resilience and Countering Hybrid Threats was held in Warsaw, under Poland's Presidency of the EU Council. The talks included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The 2025 Polish-German Prize will be presented by heads of diplomacy of Poland and Germany, Radosław Sikorski and Johann Wadephul. The award ceremony will be held at the Polish Embassy in Berlin on 4 June as part of the opening of the Polish-German Forum.
