International security and Russia's threat to the global order were at the top of the agenda as Poland's top diplomat Radosław Sikorski visited Kyiv on 12-13 September 2025.

For the first time in 80 years of the UN's history, a Security Council session was convened at Poland's request to discuss the recent incursion into the Polish airspace by Russian aircraft. Poland was represented by Secretary of State at the Foreign Ministry Marcin Bosacki who spoke at the session.

On Poland's initiative, on the sidelines of an emergency session of the UN Security Council, a group of 48 countries and the EU Delegation issued a joint press statement on the largest violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. The statement was delivered by Secretary of State at the Foreign Ministry Marcin Bosacki.

Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski met with Yvette Cooper today in Kyiv. UK Prime Minister's National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell also attended the meeting.

The first ever Conference of Consuls responsible for the cooperation with the Polish community and Poles abroad was held in Warsaw on 11-12 September 2025. Organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event gathered over 100 representatives of Polish diplomatic missions from around the world.

The Foreign Minister's Advisory Council for Resilience to International Disinformation (Council for Resilience) expresses its deep concern over the disinformation campaign waged by Russia and its allies after Polish airspace was violated by Russian drones on the night between 9 and 10 September.

MFA Secretary of State Marcin Bosacki opened a Warsaw Format meeting, during which representatives of the Kingdom of Denmark-Chair of the Arctic Council since May 2025-met with delegates from the Council's observer states.

Documents, books, and back issues of magazines relating to the Katyń Massacre-it is only a part of the "Katyń Archive”, which Wacław Godziemba-Maliszewski handed over yesterday to Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski. During a ceremony held in New York, the head of Polish diplomacy awarded the donor the Bene Merito honorary distinction.
