16.12.2025Today, Undersecretary of State Henryka Mościcka-Dendys took part in a diplomatic conference in The Hague. The Polish deputy foreign minister signed the Convention Establishing the International Claims Commission for Ukraine on behalf of Poland. The newly established Commission will decide on compensation for damages and losses caused during Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine.

15.12.2025Deputy chief of MFA Marcin Bosacki participated in a Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) meeting held in Brussels on 15 December. EU foreign ministers discussed among others Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and EU-China relations.

12.12.2025During today's consultations, the two interlocutors discussed current bilateral issues, the question of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, and the security situation in the South Caucasus in the light of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

12.12.2025Participants in the informal meeting of the General Affairs Council (GAC) focused on supporting Ukraine on its path to the European Union. Also emphasised was the need for multidimensional support for Ukraine. Deputy Minister Ignacy Niemczycki announced in Lviv that Poland has joined the Ukraine2EU programme, which aims to assist Ukraine in the process of preparing for EU membership.

11.12.2025On December 11, at the Informal Meeting of Ministers for European Affairs in Lviv, Poland reinforced its support for Ukraine's EU membership by announcing its participation in the Ukraine2EU - EU Integration Support Programme. Poland has contributed €1 million to Ukraine2EU and will provide advisory support drawn from its own experience to Ukrainian public administration institutions it their efforts to conduct EU-related reforms and align legislation with the EU acquis. The contribution will also help to reinforce the Verkhovna Rada's capacities related to Ukraine's EU accession.

11.12.2025On 8-11 December, Robert Kupiecki, undersecretary of state at the MFA and national security advisor to the prime minister, visited Washington, D.C. His agenda included attending the Aspen Security Forum as well as holding several meetings with members of the US administration.

10.12.2025MFA Secretary of State Ignacy Niemczycki opened today a conference, held in Warsaw, to mark the 20th anniversary of Bruegel, a think tank, titled "Can policy survive politics?”. The event focused on the European Union's security and competitiveness.
