Ninety four persons took part in this year’s edition of “Poland. Business Adventure.” Conceived by the MFA, a programme of three-month-long business internships is addressed to the representatives of the Polish diaspora aged 21–35 and carried out in collaboration with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

During the gala, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski stressed that the “Poland. Business Adventure” programme is much more than an opportunity to gain new professional experience.

It is a possibility to make friends with interesting people from all over the world. It is a chance to discover the land of your ancestors, its rich culture, fascinating history, beautiful language, and its achievements

- said Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski.

Participants of “Poland. Business Adventure” not only work during their internships, but also get to know Polish culture and learn the Polish language. This year, they have visited several Polish cities, including Kraków and Gdańsk.

Speaking at the gala, the head of the Polish MFA pointed out that, for some of the internship holders, “Poland. Business Adventure” is just the beginning of their professional careers in Poland.

I am pleased that some of the Polish companies hosting your internships have treated this three-month period as a trial period, which will culminate in the signing of an employment contract

- said Poland’s top diplomat.

Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski also thanked the partner companies that had decided to host internship holders from all over the world and to show them how business is developing in Poland.
