Poland, the United States and Brazil Announce Details of Warsaw Process Working Group on Humanitarian Issues and Refugees

Poland, the United States and Brazil are pleased to announce that the Warsaw Process working group on humanitarian issues and refugees will meet in Brasilia February 5-6, 2020.

The working group will focus on sharing best practices and lessons learned on the education and protection of children and youth in humanitarian responses to crises in the Middle East.

This is the sixth of seven working groups to be announced as part of the Warsaw Process, which was launched at the conclusion of the Ministerial to Promote a Future of Peace and Security in the Middle East in February. Working groups on cybersecurity, human rights, maritime and aviation security, and energy security have already convened. The working group on missile proliferation will convene next in Bucharest, Romania November 14-15. More than 50 nations and multiple international organizations have participated in the working group process.
