Poland's UN Youth Delegates nominated

16.09.2026

On 16 September, Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski presented nominations to Poland's UN Youth Delegates. During the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the young Poles will be represented by Karolina Fabirkiewicz and Michał Wyrębkowski.

There are four people in the photo. They are standing side by side and looking straight ahead. Two of them are holding red folders. Behind them are the Polish and EU flags.

Poland’s Youth Delegates will join the official Polish delegation to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.  They will represent the voice of the young generation in an international debate and take part in activities to strengthen youth participation in social and public life. Their task will also be to engage in dialogue with young people and convey their perspective in the forum of the United Nations as part of the Global Youth Delegate Programme.

Karolina Fabirkiewicz and Michał Wyrębkowski won a competition by submitting draft addresses on the youth’s role in strengthening resilience and responding effectively to crises; they also demonstrated that they have experience aligned with the UN priorities.

We extend our congratulations to the nominees, wishing them every success in their endeavour!
