Polish Consulate in Lviv helped Poles return home

28.02.2022

In the morning of 28 February 2022, thanks to the efforts of the Polish Consulate in Lviv and Poland’s MFA, two coaches departed from Lviv to Poland with nearly 90 Poles on board.

Polish Consulate in Lviv helped Poles return home

The travellers had reported their intent to go to Poland via the MFA’s helpline and by registering in the Odyseusz system.  All travellers reached our country safely.

As it plans to organise further transports, the MFA encourages Poles and holders of the Pole’s Card to report the need for assistance when leaving Lviv. Such reports will greatly facilitate the organisation process.

Besides helping Poles to return home from Ukraine, the mission has been providing extensive humanitarian aid to people queueing at border crossings.
