This will be achieved through the transfer of good practices, techniques and experiences in this area acquired by the Polish Armed Forces, particularly during the preparations for the 2012 European Football Championship co-organized by Poland and Ukraine.

The launch of this partnership is particularly important for the Qatari side in the context of ongoing preparations of a successful and safe FIFA World Cup 2022 which begins on 21 November, with participation of the Polish national football team.

The agreement enhances existing cooperation in the area. On 21 May during the stay in Qatar of  the visit to Doha of the Superintendent Roman Kuster, Deputy Commander in Chief of the Polish Police Force, he endorsed the Joint Declaration on the Exchange of Information between the State of Qatar and the Countries Participating in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022. Also, the cadets of the Qatari Coast Guard have been taking up studies at the Naval Academy in Gdynia since 2016.
