Polish–Brazilian political consultations

A tenth round of Polish–Brazilian political consultations was held at the Polish MFA, hosted by Undersecretary of State Jakub Wiśniewski. The Brazilian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Maria Luisa Escorel de Moraes.
The officials summed up the Polish–Brazilian cooperation to date and discussed the prospective strengthening of its political, economic, cultural, and scientific dimensions. They also spoke about the treaty base and draft agreements which are being negotiated by the two countries.
Besides bilateral issues, the deputy ministers addressed several regional and global topics including, but not limited to, the EU–Brazil relations, the situation in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Additionally, Minister Maria Luisa Escorel de Moraes spoke about the preparations for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, or COP 30. The conference is to be held in Belém, Brazil, this autumn.
