Deputy Minister Harazim and Secretary General Briens welcomed the intensive Polish–French political and expert dialogue, which is in line with the conclusions of the Polish–French Intergovernmental Summit held in Gdańsk on 20 April this year.

They declared their willingness to enhance the strategic partnership through, among other things, developing joint economic, defence, energy, social, and cultural projects.

The deputy head of Polish diplomacy encouraged partners to learn about what Poland has to offer as regards its defence industry and digital transition solutions, and to take part in investments in Poland. He also underlined Poland’s efforts to become a member of the G20.

The consultations centred around the current security situation, particularly in Ukraine. The interlocutors jointly underscored firm support for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognised borders. Undersecretary Artur Harazim and Martin Briens hope that the transatlantic unity will be maintained in this regard.

Moreover, both sides expressed satisfaction with the Polish–French cultural season scheduled for 2027 and the ever-closer cooperation between the Polish and the French foreign ministries.
