Polish–Romanian Solidarity Day celebrated in Bucharest

During her visit to Bucharest, Undersecretary of State at the MFA Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef attended a ceremony marking the Polish–Romanian Solidarity Day as well as the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The Romanian Athenaeum, Bucharest’s most prominent concert hall, was the venue for a concert of a Polish string band Vołosi held on Tuesday. The event forms part of the Poland–Romania Cultural Season 2024/2025. Various distinguished guests participated in the celebrations, including Secretary of State at the Romanian MFA Traian Hristea, high-ranking representatives of Romania’s most important ministries and cultural institutions, as well as parliamentarians and members of the diplomatic corps.
While in Bucharest, Deputy Minister Radwan-Röhrenschef also met with the Secretary of State for European Affairs at the Romanian MFA, Clara Staicu, and the President of the Romanian Cultural Institute, Liviu Jicman.

The concert of the Vołosi band was co-organised by the Polish Embassy in Romania, the Polish Institute in Bucharest, and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute—the institution designated by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage to implement the programme of the Poland–Romania Cultural Season 2024/2025.
