Public broadcasters in foreign languages

Under the current agreements, programs and foreign-language broadcasts produced by Polish Radio External Service and by the International Media Centre are financed from the state budget funds administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The implementation of these activities is supervised by the Department for Strategic Communication and Countering Foreign Disinformation.

Polish Radio External Service is a branch of Polish Radio dedicated to informing international audiences about developments in Poland while promoting Polish culture and foreign policy. Its content is produced in six languages: Polish, English, German, Belarusian, Russian, and Ukrainian.

International Media Centre brings together foreign editorial teams within a single organizational structure. The Centre includes the English-language TVP World, the Belarusian Belsat, the Ukrainian editorial team Slawa TV, and the Russian-language Vot Tak. In 2026, the Centre launched a Romanian-language edition of Vot Tak aimed at audiences in Moldova. There are plans to establish additional editorial teams in 2026.
