On 23 June 2025, the Diplomats' Gallery located on the premises of the MFA's Diplomatic Protocol hosted the opening of an exhibition entitled "Różnorodność/Diversity” by Dr Agnieszka Gewartowska-a visual artist, a graduate of the Academies of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Gdańsk, and a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Szczecin.
Monday’s opening was the third event organised under the three-party cooperation agreement signed in 2024 between the MFA’s Department of Promotion and Cultural Diplomacy, the Mariusz Kazana Foundation, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.“I am glad to see so many of you gathered at the Diplomats’ Gallery. It is truly heart-warming that in such difficult times, with an armed conflict in the Middle East, we are able to connect and contemplate these wonderful works of art together,” said Undersecretary of State Henryka Mościcka-Dendys.
The exhibition showcases a selection of Dr Gewartowska’s graphic arts pieces. Among them, visitors will find works created using the techniques of colour lithography and fine art printing.
“Organising encounters with Polish graphic art in a space visited so frequently by diplomats is a continuation of my husband’s project,” stressed Barbara Kazana in her welcome speech.

The opening was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, representatives of the Academies of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Gdańsk, and MFA employees. The works are on display until October 2025. Another exhibition is set to open in autumn.
The Mariusz Kazana Foundation was set up in 2010, after the diplomat’s tragic death in the presidential plane crash near Smolensk. It aims to keep the memory of the former director of the Diplomatic Protocol alive and to carry on with his mission of building a positive image of Poland by popularising culture and art both in Poland and abroad.
