Acting on behalf of the President of Poland, Head of the Foreign Service Rafał Wiśniewski presented MFA employees with state decorations.

Acting on behalf of the President of Poland, Head of the Foreign Service Rafał Wiśniewski presented MFA employees with state decorations.

Members of the foreign service were honoured for special achievements in their work for developing and strengthening Poland’s position, protecting its interests, and serving its citizens.

In his address, Mr Wiśniewski thanked the decorated employees. He emphasised that this is a moment to honour the awardees for their attitude of remaining in post despite sometimes considerable difficulties and challenges, exercising their duties with exceptional diligence and full professionalism for Poland’s benefit.

Speaking on behalf of the decorated, Consul Anna Nowakowska expressed hope that the diplomats who are now retired will always have good memories of their work at the ministry while those in active service will strive to give their best to our homeland.​
