Poland is deeply concerned about the information provided by the United Kingdom regarding Russian cyberattacks directed against the UK’s democratic institutions and electoral processes.

Poland stands in full solidarity with the United Kingdom. Our position on the matter is expressed in a declaration of the European Union. We strongly condemn all forms of malicious cyber activities aimed at destabilizing democratic institutions, public administration, and social life. We firmly advocate that states, the private sector, and individuals adhere to the principles of responsible behaviour in cyberspace as endorsed by the UN. All countries defending the principles of democracy as the foundation of international order must cooperate closely to stand up for these values in cyberspace as well.
