On the first day of his visit, the undersecretary of state took part in the Valdas Adamkus 2019 high-level international conference and attended its side event, “Will Europe Ever Be Whole and Free” panel.

In his speech, Deputy Minister Przydacz underlined that Europe needs to maintain its unity against Russia’s aggressive policy. Earlier, Polish deputy minister met with his Lithuanian counterpart Darius Skusevičius. The politicians discussed the key topics of political relations, economic and energy cooperation and current security issues in the region. Deputy ministers also attended the opening ceremony of an exhibition on the Union of Lublin. The exhibition is the Lithuanian contribution to the celebration of the Union’s 450th anniversary.

During his visit, Deputy Minister Przydacz also visited Mažeikiai and met with the Orlen Lietuva oil refinery management. He also joined a rally of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association in Lithuania to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the revival of Polish scouting in Lithuania.
