Poland in the EU

The draft of the European Council conclusions on the Multiannual Financial Framework for 2021-2027 was the main topic of the General Affairs Council meeting. The Polish delegation was headed by the Minister for European Affairs Mr Konrad Szymański.

The Middle East peace process, the situation in Libya, the European Union's cooperation with the African Union, and the EU-India relations were the main topics of today's meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) in Brussels.

An extraordinary meeting of the EPSCO Council was held in Brussels on 13 February to analyze the situation related to the ongoing epidemic of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak in China.

The future of coal regions and the challenges facing the EU in the context of the European green deal were the main elements of discussion during the conference "Towards a green economy", which took place in Katowice.

Polish flags at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU are being flown at half-mast on 27th January to pay tribute and mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
