The final shape of the regulations on the functioning of international road transport included in the Mobility Package I, was the main subject of the talks between Minister Andrzej Adamczyk and transport ministers of the like-minded countries (apart from Poland, these are Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Hungary, Cyprus, Estonia and Malta) with Adina Vălean, EU Commissioner for Transport, and Frans Timmermans, Commission's Executive Vice President responsible for the EU climate strategy, otherwise known as the European Green Deal.

The draft of the European Council conclusions on the Multiannual Financial Framework for 2021-2027 was the main topic of the General Affairs Council meeting. The Polish delegation was headed by the Minister for European Affairs Mr Konrad Szymański.

The Middle East peace process, the situation in Libya, the European Union's cooperation with the African Union, and the EU-India relations were the main topics of today's meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) in Brussels.

An extraordinary meeting of the EPSCO Council was held in Brussels on 13 February to analyze the situation related to the ongoing epidemic of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak in China.

According to the document published by the European Commission, the internal demand, and in particular, the sum of investments meant that in 2019 the GDP growth in Poland remained at a high level of 4%. In both 2020 and 2021, the projected GDP growth will be at 3.3%.

The head of the Polish government met in Brussels with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the European Council Charles Michel. The meetings were dominated by budget negotiations leading up to the EUCO summit due on 20 February.

The 5G network, the future Digital Services Code, cybersecurity, the development of network infrastructure and the new EU budget - these were the main topics of Friday's visit of the Minister of Digital Affairs Marek Zagórski in Brussels.

The presentation of the priorities of the Croatian Presidency and the discussion on the conference on the future of Europe were the main topics of the General Affairs Council (GAC) meeting. The Polish delegation was headed by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the EU Andrzej Sadoś.

The future of coal regions and the challenges facing the EU in the context of the European green deal were the main elements of discussion during the conference "Towards a green economy", which took place in Katowice.

Polish flags at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU are being flown at half-mast on 27th January to pay tribute and mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
