Additional PLN 100 million for activation programmes in 2023

Minister Marlena Maląg granted additional PLN 100 million for implementation of the unemployed activation programmes organised locally by the district employment offices. These programmes are already approved by the Marshalls of the Voivodeships competent for the territory and now they will receive support from the Labour Fund.

Additional PLN 4.3 million for refugee activation already allocated.

By the end of March 2023 the Minister has already allocated the additional PLN 4.3 million for implementation of the local job activation programmes for the unemployed foreigners, including the beneficiaries of international protection in the Lodz, Lesser Poland, Mazovian, Podlassian, Pomeranian and Greater Poland Voivodeships.


These programmes offering various available forms of support, such as internships and trainings, are benefited by the Ukrainian women, who seek safety and development opportunities for them and their families in Poland.

PLN 100 million for the subsequent activation programmes!

In April this year, the Minister granted another additional funds – PLN 100,562,500 from the Labour Fund for activation of nearly 17 thousand of unemployed in response to more than 400 applications of the district employment offices from all voivodeships.

The funds will be used to activate various groups of the unemployed, including among others:

–   parents re-entering the labour market after the child care period and caregivers of persons with disabilities;

–    persons with disabilities and caregivers of a dependent person, including in particular a disabled person;

–    persons living in rural areas;

–   the unemployed in the regions of higher unemployment rate;

–    women suffering long-term unemployment;

–    persons with low skills (having no secondary school graduation certificate).

Support for the local government initiatives defined on a directional basis by the Minister forms an example of the central government cooperation with the territorial local government.
