'Once again, Poland is at the forefront of countries with the lowest unemployment; The current good situation on the labour market is a result of prudent actions of the government,' emphasises the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, referring to Eurostat data on unemployment.

Eurostat data show that at the end of May this year, the registered unemployment rate in Poland was 2.7 per cent, the same as in April. That gives us second place in the list of EU countries. The unemployment rate in the Eurozone in May was 6.5 per cent - the same as a month earlier.

'The situation in the Polish labour market is stable – Eurostat data are the best proof of this. Once again, the effectiveness of the instruments introduced by the government is confirmed. A strong labour market is a guarantee of our security,' Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg said.
